Cesar Florido, Chiponia, Spain, Moscatel Dorado Sherry

A sweet style of sherry made from the rarely used Moscatel Dorado, or Golden Muscat.  Production of this style of sherry is commonly found near the seaside town of Chiponia.  Think flavors of sultanas, candied orange peel, and sheer bliss.  There is enough acid to cut through the sweetness and maybe you can see why your grandparents kept this in the cabinet.
