Esprit Leflaive, "Sous La Velle," Saint-Romain, France, Chardonnay, 2020

In 2018 Domaine Leflaive made the decision to expand beyond their classic production from the Côte de Beaune and explore other climats in Burgundy and Espirit was born.  These wines are made in extremely limited production, fruit sourced from all organic or biodynamic vineyard sites, and have the spirit of their more expensive siblings.  An absolutely stunning bottle of Burgundy.  Enjoy with escargot or chicken cordon bleu.
