Fortuna, Kentucky Straight Bourbon

A new brand with an old story.  Philip Hollenbach, a German immigrant, founded Glencoe distillery in 1889. The Fortuna bottle was named to provide imbibers "The Taste of Good Fortune" that the distillery provided for his family.  Despite years of success and several moves, the distillery was shut down in the 1960's.  In 2022, the team from Rare Character breathed new life into this brand.  Aged a minimum of six years, this rye whiskey brings notes of vanilla, honey, and caramel, making this great in a cocktail or with a drop of water.
