Il Borro, "Borrigiano," Valdarno di Sopra Pratomagno Rosso, Italy, Sangiovese blend, 2022

This red blend is made up of Syrah and Sangiovese this vintage.   The cepage (blend) changes year to year, so it's important to note.  Medium bodied with fresh berries and red fruits, notes of tobacco, orange peel, and a savory finish.  Great with pasta, hard cheese, and ribbolita (tuscan bread soup).
