L'Orme de Rauzan Gassies, Haut Medoc, France, Merlot Blend, 2015

The second label from second growth Rauzan Gassies.  More merlot in the blend than one may expect from the Left Bank of Bordeaux.  Aged for one year in barrel.  Notes of red licorice, candied fennel, menthol, with dark cherry.  Enjoy with venison jerky or grilled pork strip steaks.
