Mount Eden, "Estate," Santa Cruz Mountains, California, Cabernet Sauvignon, 2015

A very classic style of Cabernet from California.  Notes of mountain herbs due to the proximity of the forest to the vineyards.  Brambly fruits with dark plum, cassis, and sage.  Lots of concentration in the 2015 without feeling heavy on the palate.  Enjoy with roasted game and whipped potatoes.
