What a special wine.  Coming from a single vineyard, Bellacolonna, located in Calderara Sottana on the slopes of Mount Etna.  Notes of dried cherries, vanilla, baking spices, orange oil, and so much more.  A delight when decanted or laid down for a few years.  Enjoy with sausages over polenta with tomato gravy or ratatouille.
